The above percentages are percentages of total worldwide energy usage by type. As you can see the total for renewable energy types is very small (~13% in total). [figures are for 2018]
These sources of energy have varying degrees of impact on our environment.
Singapore uses natural gas as the power source for about 95% of the energy produced. The remainder coming from waste combustion, oil and solar.
