1 m to many km

Uses:

    • Radio transmissions
    • TV Transmissions (less common now as most TV comes through intranet cables)
    • RFID tags

Source:

    • Man-made radio waves are created by oscillating elecitic currents in an arial or antenna.

Detected by:
Antennas.

This small radio has an antenna that can be extended to help it receive radio signals.

Once a common site on the top of all buildings this is a TV antenna that would receive broadcast TV Signals.
