Gamma rays are the most energetic of all the em waves.
There is not really a clear division between X-rays and Gamma rays. Usually it is just a matter of the source determining if the wave is called an X-ray or a gamma ray.

Greek symbol for gamma is γ
Ionising radiation that is also easily able to penetrate the body. Exposure can therefore be very dangerous.
Can be stopped by shielding with thickness of concrete or lead.
