  1. Mr shone,
Is there a difference between “gravitational pull on a satellite from earth” and “ force of attraction between earth and that same satellite”?
And also, how is the formula F = (Gm1m2)/ rsquare different from the formula g=GM/rsquare. (In the event when qn asks for pull of Earth on satellite)

    1. “gravitational pull on a satellite from earth” and “ force of attraction between earth and that same satellite” are the same thing.

F=GMm/r² is used to find the force.
g=GM/r² gives us the gravitational field strength of the field.

      The 2 are related by F=ma (W=mg)
