Entering Equations

You can easily enter realistic equations into the comments using LaTeX markup language.

Start by entering “” into the comment (without the quotes).

$\text{jkjkjk }$

into the post – this will not appear when the comment is displayed.

Enclose equation elements in between 2 dollar $$$ signs.

e.g.

cm^2 gives $cm^2$

\theta gives $\theta$

\pi gives $\pi$

$\frac{x^2-1}{1-2^x}$

$f_k = f(x_k),\: x_k = x^*+kh,\: k=-\frac{N-1}{2},\dots,\frac{N-1}{2}$
