Sec 3 Mid Year Examination Format and Topics

Dear Sec 3 Physics students,

Topic: Dynamics (up to and including Newton’s 3 Laws):

3.1 – Types of Forces
3.2 – Free-Body Diagrams
3.3 – Balanced & Unbalanced Forces
3.4 – Newton’s First Law of Motion
3.5 – Newton’s Second Law of Motion
3.6 – Newton’s Third Law of Motion

Format:

Short structured questions, 10 marks in 15 minutes

Dates :

Monday 10 April: 302
Tuesday 11 April: 311+312+314
Wednesday 12 April: 305, 308

Let Mr Shone know in advance if you are unable to take the quiz on the specified days so that alternative  arrangements can be made.

You are expected to have a calculator,  and appropriate drawing equipment for all Physics quizzes.
